It looks like an astonishing mix between The Legend of Zelda : Breath of the Wild and Minecraft with some Pokémon vibes in it. We never expected such a fantastic response from the community but are forever grateful that they picked up such an interest in the game. Stadia has been a promising platform in our eyes from the very beginning, even though public interest would have you think otherwise. Speaking of keen interest, would you have ever imagined so much support from the Stadia community ? Can you tell us how everything happened including how you felt when Google reached out ? The game has been in development for a long time, so we would have been able to deliver the game with or without Kickstarter. Skyclimbers is indeed a very ambitious game, however, all its parts are consciously intentioned with harmonious overlap. How do you explain your game aroused such keen interest ? Would it have been even possible without Kickstarter and the incredible response you received ? I got started as a musician and sound engineer but eventually found myself at home in the startup/game development circle. We had the chance to ask Paratope a few questions. Fans who were also there and in numbers on Stadia until Google decided to contact the developers so that the alpha version of Skyclimbers can be released by the end of the year on Stadia and not current 2022 as it was scheduled. Next up, launching on May 13, “Hundred Days – Winemaking Simulator” is just what it says on the tin, a business simulation game that puts you in charge of a winery business and surrounding vineyard.You can’t have missed Skyclimbers, the little gaming bomb from Paratope which has literally broke all the records with their Kickstarter crowd-funding campaign exceeding by 1362% its pledged goal, and has gathered through the weeks and months a lot of fans. Separately, the first game in the Darkside Detective series is launching on Stadia today, allowing mystery fans to get caught up on the crime-solving action. The next Stadia Makers game to hit the platform, on April 15, will be The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark, a “serial adventure game” full of supernatural mysteries and part of the first batch of Stadia Makers games. Today, on the Stadia Community Blog, Google has shared that the Stadia Makers program has partnered with more developers, as well as something of a timeline into the next releases. Since its launch, Stadia Makers has brought a decent handful of games - particularly those made with the Unity engine - to Stadia players, with Kaze and the Wild Masks and Nanotale: Typing Chronicles as the most recent releases. ![]() Today, Google is sharing a glimpse at the next 10 games coming soon as part of Stadia Makers, including fan favorite Skyclimbers. Last year, Google unveiled the Stadia Makers program as a way for indie developers to get funding and assistance with porting their upcoming games to the cloud.
